Ogden, located in the south-east region of Calgary, Alberta is a residential neighborhood which includes the districts of Millican Estates and Lynnwood. It is bounded to the south by Glenmore Trail, to the west by the Bow River and the Deerfoot Trail, to the north by the CPR tracks and the east by the Ogden Shops’s industrial areas.
Ogden got its name from a former Vice Chancellor of Canadian Pacific Railway, Mr. I.G. Ogden and was established in the year 1912. In 2012, the CP Rail relocated the corporate head offices to Ogden due to which new corporate offices were built within the existing rail yard.
